How do I find reliable websites?

Find suggested reliable websites on our libguides.

If you find other websites, see if they are reliable by using the CRAP test:

C Currency. Is the information up-to-date?

R Relevance. Is the site actually relevant to my topic?

A Authority. Does the author (or organziation) have the experience, training, and reputation to speak on this topic?

P Perspective. What is the bias of the author or creator?

Also, consider limiting your results to just .gov, .edu or .org websites (note: not all .org sites are reliable). To limit Google results, add < site:.gov >, < site:.edu>, or <site:.org> to your Google search
